A Saison recipe brewed with Eight (8) different yeasts with a score of “best” recipe to yeast combo to “Eigth” being the least favorite combo for this style. All brewers brewed with distilled or RO water adding brewing salts and acid malts to maintain the same water profile and PH value in the mash. Alpha acids were adjusted to match IBUs per hop, lot, and crop year, by each brewer to eliminate as many variables as possible.
